An exciting immediate start role with a industry-leading Medical Devices organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their finance team. Taking a hands-on approach, this Senior Accountants' position will help assist in the management and communication of the companies’ financial & corporate accounting activities on both a domestic and international scale. Initially this will be a contractual assignment, however there is the opportunity for this role to be extended and/or made permanent.
The responsibilities
Reporting directly into the CFO, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);
- Completing and cleaning balance sheet reconciliations with supporting documentation
- Work with SAP external support to ensure the fixed asset functionality is working as expected to managed fixed assets and depreciation
- Reconcile fixed asset register; including demonstration equipment with a physical stocktake in partnership with operations team
- Establish running depreciation in system with correct book and tax rates as applicable.
- Partner with the Operations team to reconcile inventory in SAP in GL with subsidiary ledger
- Assist the Finance Manager with the review and reconciliation of intercompany balances between entities with resolution entries as required
- Ad-hoc projects as and when required
- Drive continuous improvement in systems, reporting, process and efficiency
Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross-functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will have a strong attention to detail, enoy process improvement and have worked in a tangible-product organisation previously.
