About the role
Due to current and projected growth, they are looking to enhance their finance function with a strong Senior Accountant. Reporting in to the talented Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes
- Month end ownership
- Cash flow forecasting
- Statutory Accounts & Tax (BAS/FBT)
- Prepare monthly financial reporting for management;
- Balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals
- Prepare accurate monthly, weekly and quarterly forecasts
- Financial reporting (operations and project accounting)
- Creation and delivery of management reports
- Participate in business improvement and process improvement projects
- Business partner with executives and senior stakeholders
- CA / CPA qualified
- Experienced working in a retail or FMCG organisation
- Ability to influence key stakeholders to deliver commercial outcomes
- Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
