An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Accounts Officer to join the national finance team of a tier 1 professional services business. Located in Brisbane CBD, this full-time, permanent role offers a chance to be part of a dynamic and supportive business services team within a reputable, culture-focused, growing business. You’ll be instrumental in supporting the financial function while supporting and mentoring the broader accounts team.

Key Responsibilities
- Process trust account transactions including receipts, payments, and settlements.
- Perform reconciliations in the practice management system.
- Maintain trust account records in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Prepare and submit periodic trust account reports, manage lodgements, and liaise with auditors.
- Train staff in trust processes and accounting systems.
- Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders.
About You
You will bring a strong background in professional services with knowledge of trust accounts. You will have a passion for precision and a proactive approach to financial processes. In addition:
- Proven ability to manage high volumes of transactions with excellent accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and time management.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office.
- A collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.
