About the role
This is a newly created position to join an internationally recognised organisation who high have ambitions to grow their Australian presence. This role will play a pivotal role in overseeing & improving the companies claims processing and procedures, whilst holding strong relationships with key underwriting/broker partners. Ideally your past experience in handling casualty/property claims will make for a smooth transition into a longer term career with the company.
Key responsibilities
Reporting to the Claims Manager, you will be responsible for;
- Uphold key relationships with underwriters & brokers
- Analyse claims data and provide meaningful input to internal/external stakeholders
- Oversee & review current claims process and make appropriate changes, ensuring claims are resolved quickly and fairly in accordance with the companies vision
- Provide training and mentoring to junior staff
- Meet all regulatory requirements & KPI's when handling claims within authority
- Having experience in handling casualty or property claims is ideal
- Have experience with TPA management
- Strong client management skills
- Experience using data and analytics to analyze data claims
