A large FMCG/Retail organisation is currently offering an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Senior Commercial Analyst. In this position you will play a vital part in enhancing commercial effectiveness throughout the group by analysing essential data to enhance business performance.
The Role
A great opportunity has arisen for a Senior Commercial analyst that will have a clear goal of providing detailed analysis to key stakeholders and driving strategic and commercial decision making. Reporting into the Senior Commercial Manager, you will also work as part of a larger finance team. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Prepare forecast, budget, business performance pack production for key stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team to conduct pricing reviews, constructing clear and accurate business cases, and reporting on financial impacts.
- Take on a significant role within cross-functional project teams and contribute to Product Development through thorough financial business case development, presenting findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct analysis of product line and category performance.
- Support strategic initiatives aimed at ensuring revenue and profit growth.
- Adhoc requests.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification.
- Experience in data analytics and financial modeling.
- Strong experience in financial accounting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Power BI or TM1.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
