The Role
Reporting to the Corporate Finance Manager, this role will play a key part in supporting the financial reporting operations for the corporate and parent entities. It offers exposure to financial reporting, cash management, lease accounting, taxation, statutory reporting, budgeting, and more. The position suits a hands-on, organised, and motivated accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative setting.
  
Responsibilities
  • Manage monthly corporate financial reporting, including journals, allocations, and variance analysis
  • Ensure integrity of the general ledger and coordinate monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Oversee property lease management, including AASB16 entries and rental payment schedules
  • Manage daily cash positions and banking relationships
  • Assist with the preparation of corporate and group budgets and forecasts
  • Support year-end audit processes and preparation of statutory financial statements
  • Manage ATO compliance including BAS, IAS, and FBT reporting
  • Coordinate data for annual insurance renewals and ABS reporting
  • Provide finance support to internal stakeholders and contribute to continuous process improvement

The Candidate
  • Degree qualified in Accounting or Commerce
  • CA/CPA qualified or near completion
  • Solid experience in financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger management
  • Experience in lease accounting (AASB16) and cash management is desirable, however not essential
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proactive, team-oriented, and able to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
