About the role:
Reporting directly to the FC and senior leadership team, the Senior Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s financial strategy and operational excellence. You will be responsible for overseeing financial control, reporting, and compliance while contributing to key decision-making processes. This position offers the opportunity to lead a team and influence strategic initiatives, ensuring the financial health and long-term sustainability of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance the financial control framework, ensuring continuous improvement of processes and financial systems.
- Provide strategic and tactical financial insights to the senior management team, including evaluating contracts, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Oversee tax compliance and reporting, with a focus on Transfer Pricing and Pillar Two regulations.
- Review inventory valuations and strategies to ensure sound financial management of stock levels.
- Assist with internal and external audit processes, ensuring adherence to group policies and compliance requirements.
- Take ownership of various financial projects, providing leadership and guidance to the finance team as needed.
- CA/CPA qualification is preferred, with extensive experience in an import or distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Proven experience in leading financial strategy, process improvements, and compliance initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels of the business.
- Experience managing multi-country, multi-location operations and working within a global business framework.
