As Senior Finance Manager - Reporting & Policies, you’ll own the Group’s external reporting to the ASX, ASIC, and JV partners, while setting and applying accounting policies across major transactions and operations. This is a hands-on, strategic role where your technical expertise, leadership, and stakeholder influence will make a real difference. This position would ideally be suited to a Big 4 or Mid-tier first mover from a property background or second mover.
What You’ll Do
- Lead external and regulatory financial reporting, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant results.
- Manage year-end and half-year reporting cycles and external audits with confidence.
- Prepare clear, insightful Board and Audit Committee papers that drive smart business decisions.
- Shape accounting policies and provide expert guidance on complex transactions.
- Review investment proposals and advise on accounting impacts to support business growth.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen governance and reporting efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing finance team.
- CA/CPA-qualified with extensive financial accounting and ASX reporting experience
- Big 4 first or second mover with a strong property background
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Deep technical knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and Group reporting
- Analytical, proactive, and able to manage multiple complex projects
- Confident communicator who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
