Working within an established and capable division, you will partner with key stakeholders to provide efficient accounting measures, ensuring compliance and process improvement, to add value to business performance. Working with the Finance Manager, CFO and Management Accountant, you will build on your expertise, through mentorship and career growth opportunities.

The successful Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for the following:
- Participate actively in the month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Actively support quarterly and annual forecast/budget process.
- Produce ASX reporting & statutory reporting.
- Actively support the interim and year end external audit requirements and any internal audit requirements.
- Manage tax effect accounting.
- Ensure compliance, and manage the consolidation of all entities.
- Lead 1-2 Financial Accountants, ensuring correct processes are met, through excellent leadership and mentorship.
The successful applicant should hold the following skills and expertise:
You will be a CA/CPA qualified accountant, with over 5 years’ experience as a Senior Financial Accountant or Management Accountant. As a skilled professional, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling cross functional engagement with key stakeholders to drive business performance. It is important that you have proven skills in managing Financial Accountants to ensure best accounting standards for this ASX business. Additionally, you will have a worked in a medium to large, complex organisation, with strong commercial tax expertise. This position will require a process improvement mindset, to ensure successful financial accounting practices are met, and continually improved upon.
