About the role
Due to current and projected growth, they are looking to enhance their finance function with a strong Senior Financial Accountant. Reporting in to the talented Finance Director, your responsibilities will include (but not limited to)
- Month end ownership
- Cashflow forecasting
- Statutory Accounts & Tax (BAS/FBT)
- Payroll GL transactions
- Prepare monthly financial reporting for management;
- Balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals
- Prepare accurate monthly, weekly and quarterly forecasts
- Financial reporting (operations and project accounting)
- Creation and delivery of management reports
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes
- Participate in business improvement and process improvement projects
- Liaise with external auditors
- Managing a small team of 3
- CA / CPA qualified
- Experienced working in a retail or FMCG organisation
- Experienced Senior Financial Accountant or Finance Manager (preferred)
- Ability to influence key stakeholders to deliver commercial outcomes
- Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
- Great ambition and energy
- SAP OR Oracle ERP system (preferred)
