The Role
We are seeking an experienced or Senior Financial Controller (Transformation Project focused) on a contractual basis to oversee and direct the Finance team with a number of key finance projects that are currently being undertaken.
Reporting to the CFO, this person will play a crucial role in a number of aspects including but limited to:
- The overall development, deployment and maintenance of Finance projects including implementation of new accounting standards
- Developing and implementing new financial policies, procedures and processes
- Implementation of a new ERP
- Assisting with the year-end audit process
- Assist with the Group financial budgeting process
- Lead process and system improvement across Finance with focus on month end, forecasting, project tracking and expenditure reporting
- Development of financial and KPI analysis tools and reporting
- Development of effective and impactful management performance reporting for management
- Identify process improvement opportunities and develop and implement solutions that are fit for purpose and drive change
- Establish critical working and influential relationships across commercial finance, statutory financial and operational management teams
- Delivery of ad hoc projects and improvements as required
- Ensure all work is delivered on a timely manner and with agreed delegations
- Provide business decision support to key stakeholders across the business
CPA or CA qualified, you will ideally have a significant number of years experience as a senior finance professional with a proven track record with project work be it with a transformation or change management focus. You have proven leadership experience and the desire to succeed and willingness to partner with a strong team of internal and external stakeholders to support the growth agenda of the company. This role will demand a strong process improvement mindset as well as a hands on approach.
