The Company and the Role
Our client is a nationally recognised leader in the manufacturing sector with global presence. As the business enters a significant phase of growth and transformation, they are focused on enhancing their reporting capabilities and financial visibility to support strategic decision-making.
As part of this evolution, they are seeking a highly analytical and reporting-focused Senior FP&A Analyst to join their Western Sydney-based finance team. Acting as a 2IC to the Head of Finance, this role is pivotal in delivering accurate, insightful financial reporting across the business, with a particular focus on supporting operational performance and process change initiatives.

- Ability to business partner with senior finance leaders to influence change within the organization
- Financial modelling including managing budgeting, forecasts, capital investment appraisal, business case building, and long-term planning.
- Provide ongoing analysis of business performance to ANZ and regional Leadership Team.
- Identifying trends and provide recommendations for business improvement, including customer and product profitability analysis, actual versus budget, forecast and prior year for sales and margin performance, free cash flow, and working capital performance.
- Establishing and refining necessary processes for forecasting, budgeting, analyzing, and reporting.
- Preparation and presentation of financial reports to Senior Management, highlighting key findings and recommendations within strict deadlines.
- Development and tracking of key financial performance indicators
Your Profile
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within FP&A, specifically in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong communication skills – you have proven business partnering experience with senior non-finance stakeholders and enjoy building relationships.
- System savvy – you have experience dealing with multiple systems and have advanced Excel skills.
- You are curious-minded, are typically across changes within the business, commercial-minded, and can question current workflows and processes.
