The Role
A newly created opportunity exists for a Senior FPA&A Analyst to play a critical part in driving financial strategy through planning, forecasting, and scenario modelling initiatives. Acting as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and key stakeholders, you will lead the development of comprehensive financial models and forward-looking analysis that underpin strategic decision-making and long-term business sustainability.
  
Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain and enhance financial models to support medium and long-term business planning
  • Lead comprehensive scenario modelling and risk assessment to inform key strategic decisions
  • Provide insightful analysis on market trends, economic factors, and competitor activity to identify potential risks and opportunities
  • Manage and continuously improve planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes and tools across the organisation
  • Serve as the business lead for the enterprise-wide budgeting and forecasting system, driving adoption and ensuring it remains fit-for-purpose
  • Partner with Finance Business Partners to monitor financial performance and support identification of business levers
  • Prepare and deliver high-impact financial reporting for the Board, Committees, and senior leadership
  • Develop presentations and materials for both internal and external stakeholders, including executive briefings and town hall events
The Candidate

You’ll bring:
  • Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and modelling within medium to large organisations
  • Advanced financial modelling skills in Excel, with a knack for scenario planning and forecasting
  • Familiarity with modern BI tools and reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI) and a solid grasp of data management principles
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the confidence to present to executive teams and challenge constructively
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive continuous improvement
  • Experience in managing financial systems or enterprise planning applications (prior BOARD experience highly regarded but not essential)
  • A collaborative working style and the ability to build trusted relationships across diverse teams
