The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will partner with product, engineering, consulting, security and data governance leaders to structure and negotiate the commercial frameworks that underpin AI and technology solution delivery.
You will lead complex negotiations, support revenue growth and design scalable contracting models that balance speed, innovation and risk discipline.
You will operate at the intersection of:
- SaaS and AI-enabled platforms
- Data protection and cybersecurity
- Intellectual property and product commercialisation
- Enterprise and government client engagements
- Leading end-to-end negotiation of MSAs, SaaS and AI SaaS agreements, partnership and reseller arrangements
- Structuring commercial frameworks that support new product launches and client expansion
- Advising on data, privacy, cybersecurity and emerging AI regulatory considerations
- Identifying and managing contractual risk while maintaining competitive positioning
- Streamlining contracting processes to improve turnaround and commercial agility
- Acting as a trusted advisor to senior technical and commercial stakeholders
What Sets You Apart
You are commercially sharp and comfortable in complex, technology-led environments.
You likely bring:
- 7+ years’ PQE with strong in-house commercial/technology exposure
- Deep experience negotiating complex technology and services agreements
- Confidence engaging with product and engineering teams
- Practical knowledge of data protection, cybersecurity or AI-related regulatory frameworks
- Strong commercial instincts — you understand growth drivers, not just legal risk
