The Opportunity
Our client are looking for an experienced payroll professional to join their team in a temporary capacity for 6 months within a role that has a view to permanency.
The Responsibilities
The duties of the role will consist of the following; however not exclusive to:
- Processing end-to-end payroll for 4000 employees
- Responding to payroll related queries
- Interpret differing EBA's & Awards
- Assist with the timely management of month-end.
- Work closely with the Payroll Manager and wider team.
- Prepare payroll reports and analysis for management.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and best practices.
- Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies.
The successful candidate will posses the following attributes; but not limited to the following:
- Proven payroll experience in a high volume environment
- Strong systems knowledge (ie: Kronos, Chris21/Ichris)
- Has a high attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
- Exposure to Enterprise Bargaining Agreements
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
