Position Description
Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working within a team of 10, you will be responsible for: 
  • Processing payroll end to end for approximately 1000 employees split amongst two pay runs
  • Alternating between fortnightly & monthly pay runs alongside another Senior Payroll Officer 
  • PAYG, Workcover and Superannuation payments
  • Ensure employment records, pay rates, allowances, and entitlements align with applicable awards, agreements, and company policies.
  • Proving accurate information in response to employee queries
  • Calculating redundancies
  • Payroll reconciliations and reporting
  • Additional tasks to assist the broader team
The Successful Candidate 
To be a success in this role you will possess:
  • Extensive prior experience in a similar payroll focused role within a medium/large scale organisation.  
  • Previous experience using Chris21/iChris would be highly regarded 
  • Understanding of and experience interpreting Awards/EBAs
  • High level attention to detail and accuracy
  • A demonstrated ability to communicate complex matters in a simplified manner
  • Forward thinking mindset with a keen desire to lead change
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with clear communication techniques
