About the role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working within a medium sized team, your daily tasks will include but are not limited to:
  • Weekly payroll processing for 1,000 + employees
  • Assisting in effectively leading a close knit payroll team
  • Processing new starters and terminations 
  • Complete superanunation and tax / PAYG payments
  • Interpreting all relevant awards, EBAs and entitlements
  • Reporting duties and assist the Payroll Manager with projects (as required)
  • Maintain payroll operations which include following policies and procedures and proactively identifying areas for process improvement

  • Prior experience within a similar Payroll Officer position

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise urgent work
