About the Position
The Facilities function is responsible for the asset management planning, maintenance and customer experience for a diverse portfolio of community buildings. Reporting to the Group Manager City Operations, this role manages procurement of various contracts, provision of maintenance service to address programmed and responsive requests on behalf of customers and building occupants. The team also plans through primary engagement with stakeholders the budget for building renewal and refurbishment programs to meet current and future service levels.

About the Person
With a background in Facilities Management or allied field you will be able to display a focus on innovation and commercial outcomes. Managing a team of facilities specialists you will have a strong safety focus, a commitment to role clarity and a passion for improving your team. Your goal within your first twelve months will be to use your strategic experience managing a portfolio of assets to lift internal customer satisfaction through technology adoption and engagement while contributing to the City Operations Group goal to reduce real expenditure by 5%. You will also have highly developed stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships and influence others. With strong people management and communication skills, you can demonstrate experience in planning and then executing on strategy and bringing your team along for the journey.
