Requirements: 
  • Minimum of five years of full-time experience in an information technology technical role
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology field
  • Must be Brisbane based - no remote options available 
  • Australian Citizen / Permanent Resident 
Desirable:
  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MDAA)
  • Microsoft 55238 - SharePoint Online for Administrators
  • Microsoft Certified: Teamwork Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Associate
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
The role: 
This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the efficiency of our clients SharePoint system. You will be managing site administration, permissions, and content organisation to facilitate smooth collaboration and document management. 
 
Your responsibilities will include implementing security measures, ensuring compliance, and providing timely support for end-user inquiries. You will oversee the daily operations, such as incident response and performance optimisation to uphold system reliability. By proactively monitoring and managing SharePoint, you'll ensure optimal user experience and will be contributing to the integrity and security of essential and ongoing business processes.
 
Required knowledge and skills:
  • Proficiency in SharePoint site administration, including the creation, configuration, and management of sites.
  • Expertise in fine-tuning permissions and security settings to uphold access controls and data security.
  • Skilled in organising and overseeing content within SharePoint, including document libraries, metadata, and versioning.
  • Proficient in designing and deploying custom workflows to automate business processes and increase efficiency.
  • Experience with form development using Microsoft Forms, Power Apps, or InfoPath for streamlined data capturing and management.
  • Familiarity with customisation and branding techniques to align SharePoint sites with organisational branding guidelines.
  • Understanding of SharePoint governance frameworks, policies, and best practices to ensure efficient governance and compliance.
  • Competence in implementing backup and recovery strategies to safeguard SharePoint data and ensure business continuity.
  • Experience in integrating and configuring third-party add-ons within SharePoint to expand functionality and meet specific business needs.
  • Ability to offer user training, guidance, and support to encourage SharePoint adoption and enhance productivity.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and fine-tuning SharePoint performance to maintain the best possible user experience and system stability.
  • Knowledge of compliance and security measures, including data encryption and threat protection.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues and performance blockers swiftly to minimise downtime.
  • Experience in strategising and executing SharePoint migration projects, including version upgrades and content transfers.
