Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in clients of all ages.
- Develop and implement individualised therapy plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Provide therapy sessions to clients, using a range of techniques and strategies to address their specific needs.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and families to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and therapy sessions.
- Stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of speech pathology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Pathology or a related field.
- Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in assessing and treating a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
