An exciting opportunity exists for a commercially minded and hands-on Store Manager to take charge of a fast-paced industrial branch in Virginia, QLD. Your focus will be on managing a diverse portfolio of B2B customers, driving new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional service to existing accounts. Working predominantly from the branch showroom, you’ll be dealing with organisations across sectors such as Manufacturing, Construction, Infrastructure, Warehousing, and Government.
This is a hybrid role combining people leadership, branch operations, and technical sales—perfect for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a solutions-driven environment.
Duties
- Take ownership of all customers, revenue, and operations within your branch
- Provide expert guidance and support across a wide product range (including castors, trolleys, and conveyors)
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide tailored recommendations to meet customer needs
- Lead, develop, and manage a small team across both customer service and warehouse operations
- Ensure high standards of stock control, merchandising, and store presentation
- Manage quotes, orders, and day-to-day administration with accuracy and attention to detail
- Hit key metrics across sales, customer service, and operational efficiency
- Previous experience in Store, Branch, or Retail Management
- Strong background in B2B or Industrial sales environments
- Ability to communicate with customers from trades to senior management
- Technically minded with a willingness to learn a wide, specialised product range
- Comfortable leading a team and juggling both strategic and hands-on tasks
