They are on the lookout for a driven Tax Accountant looking to step into a commercially focused role. With exciting projects in the pipeline and a strong focus on financial performance and compliance, this is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of tax matters in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and lodge income tax returns, monthly and quarterly BAS, annual FBT submissions, and manage indirect taxes.
- Oversee accounting for trusts, partnerships, and associated members.
- Respond to tax-related queries from shareholders, financiers, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Prepare and support monthly management reporting, including review of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Contribute to the preparation of annual operating budgets and reforecasts.
- 3+ years of experience in a mid-tier Chartered Accounting firm
- CA/CPA qualified (or near completion).
- Strong understanding of Australian taxation legislation, ATO requirements, and financial reporting standards (AASB/IFRS).
- Previous exposure to trusts, partnerships, or complex group structures is highly regarded.
- A salary of up to $115,000 + Super + 10% bonus
