We are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager with strong ServiceNow development expertise to support the delivery of ICT Service Management initiatives within a large, complex enterprise environment. This role is suited to a hands-on technical leader who can design, develop and deliver ServiceNow enhancements while guiding technical outcomes across projects and operational teams.
Working within a mature technology function, you will play a key role in architecting, designing and implementing solutions aligned to enterprise standards, while contributing to the continual improvement of ITSM capabilities.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and contribute to the technical design, architecture and delivery of ServiceNow solutions, enhancements and new modules
  • Perform hands-on development including scripting, coding and automation within ServiceNow
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to implement process improvements, workflows and automation
  • Support provisioning and management of pre-production and production environments
  • Assist projects through governance gates, including Go Live planning and readiness activities
  • Build product roadmaps, gather requirements and support release planning
  • Contribute to the design, development and lifecycle management of APIs and development frameworks
  • Prepare technical plans, work packages and implementation documentation
  • Provide expert technical advice to stakeholders, vendors and delivery teams
  • Monitor emerging technologies, patterns and architectural trends to inform best practice solutions
  • Lead technical problem solving and contribute to the delivery of complex system solutions
  • Build strong relationships across delivery teams, business stakeholders and vendors
About You
You are a senior technical professional who combines deep ServiceNow development experience with strong delivery capability. You are confident working across architecture, development and stakeholder engagement, and thrive in environments that value technical excellence and collaboration.
Skills and Experience
  • Extensive experience in large and complex ServiceNow environments, including development, administration, integrations and enhancements
  • Strong ServiceNow scripting and automation skills including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions and Workflow design
  • Experience delivering ITSM solutions and working within ITIL-aligned environments
  • Proven experience working with operational teams, projects and vendors in enterprise settings
  • Experience building technical documentation such as solution architectures, high-level and detailed designs, as-built and operational guides
Technical capability across one or more of the following is highly regarded:
  • ASP.NET / .NET Core
  • SQL Server
  • Angular or React
  • C# and JavaScript
  • Azure DevOps / TFS
  • Glide, HTML, CSS, PowerShell
  • Microsoft Azure services (Functions, App Services, SQL PaaS, IaaS, AAD)
  • Microsoft 365 and Power Platform technologies
  • Microsoft on-premise technologies (Active Directory, SCCM, SCOM)
  • Network technologies such as firewalls, application delivery networks, proxies and web application firewalls
Mandatory Requirements
  • ServiceNow Administrator Certification (or higher)
  • ITIL Foundation Certification (or higher)
  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience across ITSM and related modules
