The Business

They are looking for a Technical Product Manager to drive, build and Enhance the product as they are going through rapid expansion. 

What is Required 
  • Provide the direction and drive for the cross-functional software development team 
  • Provide the direction and drive for product development, including identifying and validating market and customer needs
  • Continuously maintain the prioritisation and user story details of the Product Backlog
  • Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of product outcomes
  • Provide a central point of coordination between the software development team and the CTO
  • Organise and coordinate all required meetings, including Agile events
  • Manage product risks, including security, regulatory, and reputational risks
  • Clear roadblocks for the software development team, including evaluation, purchase, and configuration of SDLC tooling
  • Provide change management from product development through to product operations
  • Manage technology vendors, from vendor evaluation through to vendor outcome
  • Create documentation as a result of product development activities
  • Provide people management, including on-boarding of new team members, talent acquisition, optimisation and retention, and employee mentorship and guidance
  • Ensure a workplace of safety and wellbeing for employees under your supervision
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic working environment and look to provide solutions and value in all situations
  • Advise on best practices and present technical trade-offs and risks of differing approaches
  • Provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to lead and standardise change
  • Take ownership and build practices of product development within the company
  Expertise and Experience
  • Bachelor degree or higher in Product Management, Project Management, Software Engineering or similar field
  • Certified ScrumMaster or similar certification
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner or similar certification
  • 5+ years of leading cross-functional software teams in Agile methodologies
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • 5+ years writing user stories and maintaining software Product Backlogs
  • Significant and proven experience in delivering on-time and on-budget product outcomes, with preference given to mobile application and/or safety application products
  • Experience with project management, with preference given to PMP or similar certifications
  • Experience with business analysis, with preference given to CBAP or similar certifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, especially Azure Boards
  • Competency in various Agile framework methodologies, with expert knowledge and practise of Scrum
  • Strong degree of ownership and independence, with experience-based decision making in weighing competing priorities
  • Exceptional communication and motivational skills
  • Ability to foster and build networks and interpersonal relationships
