This role is responsible for ensuring raw materials are always available for production, finished goods are dispatched on time, and warehouse operations meet strict safety, quality and performance standards. You will lead a team across multiple shifts and play a key role in minimising downtime, improving efficiency and maintaining stock accuracy.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all warehouse operations supporting a production environment
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials to manufacturing
- Oversee inbound materials, outbound dispatch and inventory control
- Lead, develop and hold accountable Team Leaders and storepersons
- Drive strong safety performance, SOP adherence and site discipline
- Maintain FIFO, aged stock controls and accurate stock records
- Plan and manage stocktakes and cycle counts
- Use D365 to manage inventory, reporting and operational visibility
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Control warehouse costs, labour efficiency and waste reduction
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager within a production or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of how warehouse performance impacts production uptime
- Experience leading teams across multiple shifts
- Solid inventory management and stock control capability
- Hands-on leader with a strong safety-first mindset
- Experience using D365 (Dynamics 365) or similar ERP systems
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, operationally critical environment
- Forklift licence preferred
