About the Opportunity: We are partnering with this firm to appoint a Knowledge Counsel to support its Disputes practice across Australia. This is a unique opportunity to step into a non-fee earning role that sits at the centre of legal excellence, supporting lawyers across multiple offices while contributing to the firm’s broader knowledge and innovation strategy. The Role: Working as part of a global knowledge management team, you will play a key role in driving best practice, supporting legal teams with high-quality know-how, and enhancing the firm’s knowledge resources. The role is varied and collaborative, with a strong focus on legal developments, training, and content creation. Key responsibilities include: Monitoring and communicating key legal and industry developments Supporting lawyers with know-how queries and legal research Developing and maintaining precedents, templates and knowledge resources Contributing to client-facing content, publications and thought leadership Supporting business development initiatives, pitches and client training Delivering internal training and supporting lawyer development programs Working closely with global teams on knowledge initiatives and strategy About You: You will be an experienced disputes lawyer with a strong technical background and a genuine interest in knowledge management, training and innovation. Key requirements include: Strong disputes experience gained in private practice or in-house Excellent drafting, research and communication skills An interest in knowledge management, training and legal innovation Ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders A proactive and solutions-focused approach Previous experience as a Knowledge Counsel or Professional Support Lawyer is advantageous but not essential.
