They are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their finance team on a 9-month contract, covering a maternity leave. About the Role Reporting directly to the Financial Controller your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: End-to-End Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable; Process invoices, manage payments, and ensure accurate reconciliation of accounts. Administer weekly payroll for handling PAYG, superannuation, and payroll tax compliance. Perform daily and month-end reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded. Maintain accurate financial records in MYOB, ensuring data integrity and compliance with accounting standards. Liaise with internal teams and external vendors, ensuring timely issue resolution and clear communication on financial matters. Ad Hoc Financial Support: Provide support for various accounting tasks and assist with any other administrative duties as required. Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree and/or studying for CPA looked upon favourably. Proficiency in MYOB and intermediate Excel skills. Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.
