About the roleA business critical role with a global ASX-listed organisation currently exists in order to fill a key senior management role in their finance team. This Head of FP&A role will be responsible for providing leadership support to the team across a transitionary period for the organisation; taking a "hands-on" approach to all elements of the work (including half-year reporting). Initially this will be a 3 month contractual assignment, however there is the genuine opportunity for extension. Also, this role can be completed in either a full-time or part-time capacity. The responsibilities Reporting to the Deputy CFO and taking a "hands-on" approach; you will be responsible for providing expertise to the business with a focus on strategic planning, analysis and business partnering. More specifically, your role will include: Leadership support to the Group Planning & Reporting team during the quarterly reforecast process Monthly review of flash reporting of results Working with the wider team to support the accurate and timely reporting of a strategic divestment through the suite of financial reports Regular engagement with divisional business units and cost centres to identify and report on financial risks and opportunities to support continuous disclosure obligations Support/drive ASX half-year readiness; working with the team on delivery dates and preparing external documents to reflect changes in the business and market messaging (key focus areas will include impacts from acquisitions, disposals, and business performance) Responsibility to prepare/write the Review of Operations, summarising the performance, and obtaining feedback from stakeholders (including the CEO and CFO) Provide support to the wider team to finalise projects on the newly created dashboards Support review of formal CEO and CFO reporting for month-end Represent the Group Planning & Reporting team on the project to implement rolling P&L forecasts Ad-hoc requests as required The successful applicant Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will have a proven track record of working in a complex and global organisation.
