About the Role Working for a dynamic, agile Technology / Energy & Renewables organisation in a start-up environment, this role assumes the primary responsibility for overseeing reporting, statutory compliance, and analysis within this organisation. Initially, this role will commence as a 6 month fixed-term contract, however has the genuine opportunity for extension and / or permanency following this period. The Essential Requirements Reporting directly into the CFO, you will be responsible for (but not limited to): Full accountability for group reporting, consolidations, statutory reporting (listed standards) and external audits. Responsible for the preparation of the Group Annual Report, working closely with all stakeholders to ensure accurate report is delivered in line with year-end timetable. Deliver accurate and complete month-end results in line with reporting timetable to head office. Ensure compliance with the Group’s financial control and governance frameworks and accounting policies. Project Lead for the review and enhancement of financial processes, policies and systems. Mentor the finance team and drive a learning, coaching, and outcomes focused culture. Monthly board reporting ensuring meaningful insight and analysis for strategic decision making. Lead the assessment of commercial opportunities and preparing models to assess future profitability of identified opportunities. Leading on pricing and commercial arrangements in consultation the CEO. Support customer relationship and drive efficiencies to ensure contracts remain financially viable and delivered on budget. Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and business case proposals. Have a continual focus on process improvement and assist on ad-hoc tasks as required The successful applicant with have Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross-functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will have a strong attention to detail, have worked in a complex & dynamic organisation previously (ideally a listed environment) and be able to commence in a new role relatively immediately.
