Role Overview: We’re on the lookout for an Infrastructure Engineer to join the team in this newly created role, where you’ll be the go-to person for everything infrastructure. Whether it’s leading exciting new projects or being the escalation point for critical support issues, you’ll play a pivotal part in ensuring smooth, reliable operations. Working in a supportive IT team of 8, you’ll also have a solid focus on Microsoft Azure, overseeing the company’s cloud environment without needing deep expertise. This role is office-based with flexibility for 1-2 days of remote work, giving you the best of both worlds. Plus, you’ll be managing relationships with vendors and external managed services agreements, giving you a chance to flex your communication and leadership skills. Key Responsibilities: Be the escalation point for infrastructure-related support issues Lead exciting new projects from start to finish, ensuring seamless implementation and ongoing maintenance Monitor and maintain the Microsoft Azure cloud environment Provide expertise across a broad range of infrastructure technologies and systems Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues quickly and efficiently Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver best-in-class solutions Document and enhance system processes, policies, and procedures to keep everything running smoothly Key Requirements: Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role Strong understanding of core infrastructure systems (servers, networks, storage, etc.) Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure for monitoring and maintaining the cloud environment Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualisation technologies Top-notch troubleshooting skills with a focus on quick, effective solutions Excellent communication skills and a consultative approach to problem-solving Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Perks and Benefits: $120k + super On-site parking available Office-based role with potential flexibility for 1-2 days of remote work Work in a rapidly growing national company that offers plenty of opportunities for career progression Be part of a supportive, close-knit team where your contributions will be recognised
