Reporting directly to the Executive Manager - Finance & Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective financial management and reporting structure of the organisation's activities across multiple functions and projects. Your expertise in reporting, budgeting and compliance will be crucial in maintaining the financial stability and driving continued growth of the business. Responsibilities: Develop and implement financial management functions and frameworks, including the organisation's financial strategy and budgeting process. Lead and manage a dedicated finance team, providing clear communication, setting performance standards, and fostering professional development. Provide high-level financial analysis and expert advice to support decision-making. Contribute to long-term strategic planning by formulating sound financial strategies. Oversee expenditure management, financial forecasting, and budget projections for the upcoming financial year. Ensure accurate preparation and interpretation of reports, budgets, accounts, and financial statements in compliance with accounting standards. Design and implement effective financial controls, systems, and policies to meet regulatory requirements. Improve internal systems and processes to enhance financial compliance and operational efficiency. Ensure timely completion of month-end processes and adherence to statutory obligations.
