The business handles a mix of general freight, timber, and dangerous goods and is focused on continuous improvement across its operations.Role Overview:This is an opportunity to take ownership of a high-throughput logistics site in Erskine Park. Leading a team of 20-25 staff, you’ll drive engagement, operational efficiency, and process improvements in a fast-moving but non-automated environment.Our client is looking for someone who can motivate teams, uplift capability, and implement structure while working in an evolving, hands-on setting.Key Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day site operations, ensuring efficiency across warehousing and transport. Drive team engagement and capability development, leading from the front. Implement process improvements to enhance site structure and operational performance. Manage P&L and cost controls to ensure commercial success. Work closely with major customers, ensuring service levels and compliance are met. Oversee 500+ pallet movements per day within a 12,000 sqm site Key Requirements: Proven experience in transport, 3PL, or logistics within a medium-sized warehouse operation. Strong people leadership skills. Hands-on, team-focused, and able to drive engagement. Ability to work in an unstructured environment, establish clear processes, and create efficiency.
