As a Senior HR Business Partner, you'll collaborate with leaders and employees across the business to embed best practice HR strategies, deliver high-quality advice, and manage complex employee relations matters. Your work will directly support our client’s commitment to a safe, respectful, and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities Partner with stakeholders to promote effective HR business partnering practices Provide timely, accurate advice on HR policies, procedures and relevant legislation Manage complex employee relations matters including performance management, complaints and rehabilitation Support workforce planning, employee engagement, and leadership capability building Lead WHS initiatives including the implementation of health and wellbeing programs and WHS compliance activities Drive continuous improvement in HR practices and internal processes Develop and implement tailored HR solutions that align with organisational goals Coach and support managers across a broad range of HR and people matters Lead and support a small, high-performing HR team About You To succeed in this role, you will bring: Strong understanding of employment laws (public or private), Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation and industry best practices. Ability to provide clear, professional and accurate written and verbal advice on HR matters. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively influence, collaborate, and build relationships with managers, employees and senior leadership. Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor, coaching managers on employee relations, workforce planning and employee engagement. Experience in developing and implementing fit for purpose HR solutions, policies and programs that align with business needs. Demonstrated expertise in handling complex employee relations matters, including performance management, workplace complaints, independent medical examinations and rehabilitation cases. Experience in leading WHS initiatives, such as implementing health and wellbeing programs, maintaining WHS registers, coordinating WHS committees and ensuring compliance with WHS legislation. Proven track record in driving continuous improvement in HR practices, processes and team ways of working.
