The role has opened up due to internal promotion and is aimed at someone who is motivated and is aiming to develop their skills and career. This is a genuine temporary to permanent opportunity, starting as a Finance Assistant with the aim to develop into an FP&A/Analyst role down the track.This role is a great opportunity for either an experienced Assistant/Financial Accountant who wants to develop their skills in a large scale, high volume company.Applicants will need to be studying or completed their CA/CPA studies and available to start immediately. Responsibilities: Manage claims and rebate processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of claims and maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. Issue monthly claim reports, providing detailed analysis of claims and rebates and identifying trends. Conduct investigations and implement process improvements in the claim and rebate function. Assist in quarterly Rise and Fall analysis in collaboration with the sales and procurement departments. Support budgets, forecast process by creating base files to suit sales and site requirements. Requirements: Experience with claims, rebates, budgeting and forecasting extremely beneficial. Able to start immediately (or within 1 week). Experience within the Manufacturing industry desirable. Confident with Excel. Studying or completed CA/CPA. Ambitious and upbeat personality. Excellent communication skills and confident to communicate across departments.
