The Role  Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be principally responsible for: Presentation of accurate and timely financial information including preparation of month end management accounts and insightful analysis/commentary. Compliance with all statutory requirements including ASX, audit, tax, and banking. This will include leading the statutory half and full year audits and requisite reporting. Risk management, implementing and controlling robust financial and operational controls and ensuring satisfactory and timely completion of external audits. Working capital management including cashflow forecasting, management of accounts payable and receivable, forecasting of FX requirements. Support the CEO and CFO in strategic, operational, and commercial analysis and planning to develop and achieve the business planning goals. With anticipated growth comes the need for a motivated and ambitious Financial Accountant to support the Finance Manager. The Role Reporting directly into the Finance Manager. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Assisting in the preparation of monthly reporting packs for internal and external stakeholders; Preparation of relevant journals, prepayments and accruals; Completion of monthly general ledger reconciliations; Completion of month-end and year-end accounts; Ensure accurate allocation of costs; Ensure accurate and up-to-date general ledger; and Ad hoc tasks and process improvements as required. The Candidate The ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified with an accounting or business background. You will have 3-4 years’ experience in a similar role and have completed or aspire to complete your CA/CPA.
