Originally from the United States, Shalina completed a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry/Math) before studying law and obtaining a Juris Doctorate of Law from the University of Michigan Law School.Upon graduating, Shalina began her legal career in Chicago, specializing in commercial real estate law and corporate matters. Shalina worked at top tier law firms, followed by a 4 year stint as In House Attorney for a Fortune 500 company. After moving to Australia in 2005, she furthered her professional education by studying Accounting. Before coming to Sharp & Carter Shalina worked as Legal Manager for YMCA Victoria.
Providing professional business acumen and a highly organized and detail oriented approach, she has extensive experience in working with internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships whilst negotiating and facilitating successful outcomes.
Shalina lives on the Mornington Peninsula with her husband, two children and their groodle.Outside of work, Shalina enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, hiking, pilates, yoga, reading and watching movies.
