After completing a Bachelor of Commerce at Monash University, Stephen spent 10 years leading Finance and Accounting recruitment teams with a large international firm before founding Sharp & Carter in 2009.
In founding Sharp & Carter he set out to build a business that aligned to his values of respect, care, generosity and treating everyone that he meets well. He has always loved recruitment in the way it enables him to have a positive impact on people’s professional lives and has gained many life long friends along the journey.
Outside of work Stephen enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, playing golf, basketball, cycling with his friends and generally fitting in as much exercise as his old creaking bones will handle.
