Ongoing growth and business evolution have created an opportunity for a commercially minded Financial Controller to join their Brisbane leadership team and play a critical role in driving financial performance across multiple sites. About the role Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role oversees the financial operations of the company’s Darra, Capalaba and Sydney facilities. It offers a blend of leadership, reporting and strategic business partnering responsibilities. You’ll lead a small on-site finance team, manage end-to-end financial reporting and provide high-quality analysis to support operational and commercial decision-making across the business. Key responsibilities Deliver timely and accurate monthly financial reports, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and internal reporting Lead, support and develop a small, high-performing finance team Work closely with operational and commercial leaders to provide insights, guidance and strategic support Oversee month-end processes including accruals, journals, fixed assets and depreciation schedules Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities Prepare financial models to support decision-making on pricing, capital projects and new initiatives Liaise with external auditors, banking partners and tax advisors Manage local fixed asset register and inventory controls About you CA/CPA qualified with a degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, planning and analysis Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams Commercial acumen and the ability to operate as a trusted business partner Strong financial modelling, analytical and problem-solving capabilities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is advantageous Full Australian working rights required What’s on offer Competitive salary package Free onsite parking Health & wellness program Global and local career development opportunities Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Employee referral and recognition programs Friendly, inclusive team culture with regular social events Work for a company that values sustainability and continuous improvement Apply now If you’re an experienced finance professional looking to step into a commercially focused leadership role, we’d love to hear from you.
