The Position

An exceptional opportunity has become available for a Project Support Officer to join a reputable and thriving government department located in the Brisbane CBD.

This is a great opportunity to work closely with a project manager lead to deliver a key program for the Queensland market. This is an initial temporary role for six months, with the review for extension. This is a highly diverse project support position and will involve an array of support across administration, database management, financial support and compliance management. 


Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases, ensuring data integrity and security;
  • Financial support including raising POs, balance sheet reconciliations and database management;
  • Report generation;
  • Work with the broader team to support with project planning and tracking;
  • Ad-hoc administration support such as procurement and onboarding to support with the project delivery.

Skills & Experience

As the suitable candidate for this position, you will hold prior relevant and recent experience in administration. You will thrive in a fast-paced and busy business environment.
  
In addition, you will also have;
  • Proven track record in project and program coordination in a government department;
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills;
  • Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment;
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as DevOps is advantageous.
