About the role 
An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Account Manager to join this market-leading company in Victoria. The role will suit a sales-minded individual that is driven by growing revenue through existing accounts. This particular role looks after distributor accounts / resellers across Victoria. 

  • Account management of existing customers made up of distributors & resellers, as well as sourcing new opportunities to grow the portfolio
  • Meeting and exceeding sales, margin & GP targets
  • Strengthening business growth and identifying additional target markets, customers and potential new product lines
  • Disciplined & strategic business planning & reporting
  • Relationship development with key clients; increasing spend within your accounts
  • Travel when required to maintain strong relationships
Skills and Experience 
  • Experience as an Account Manager or BDM with track record of growing revenue within your portfolio
  • Background in hardware, tools or building materials industries 
  • Experience selling into retail channels & distributors
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills
  • Constantly work towards meeting and exceeding key business objectives
  • Passion to strategically grow a business & be more to your clients than just a representative 
  • Be diligent with your reporting processes
  • Track record of demonstrating values of trust, integrity & a strong work ethic
  • Very attractive salary package + bonus & commission structures
  • Already established key accounts across VIC, with strong relationships to build from
