An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Account Manager to join this market-leading company in Victoria. The role will suit a sales-minded individual that is driven by growing revenue through existing accounts. This particular role looks after distributor accounts / resellers across Victoria.
Duties
- Account management of existing customers made up of distributors & resellers, as well as sourcing new opportunities to grow the portfolio
- Meeting and exceeding sales, margin & GP targets
- Strengthening business growth and identifying additional target markets, customers and potential new product lines
- Disciplined & strategic business planning & reporting
- Relationship development with key clients; increasing spend within your accounts
- Travel when required to maintain strong relationships
- Experience as an Account Manager or BDM with track record of growing revenue within your portfolio
- Background in hardware, tools or building materials industries
- Experience selling into retail channels & distributors
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong commercial negotiation skills
- Constantly work towards meeting and exceeding key business objectives
- Passion to strategically grow a business & be more to your clients than just a representative
- Be diligent with your reporting processes
- Track record of demonstrating values of trust, integrity & a strong work ethic
- Very attractive salary package + bonus & commission structures
