Our client is a national reputable construction company that is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced accountant to join their team on a fulltime permanent basis. This candidate must have strong payroll processing experience.
The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your duties will include:
- Reconciliation of vendor accounts;
- General ledger journals and maintenance
- Period-end accounting closing (monthly, quarterly and yearly)
- Bank journals and reconciliation
- Customer invoicing and statements
- Fixed asset register
- Monthly BAS
- Analytics, dashboarding and reporting with databases and PowerBI
- Back-up for payroll
The successful candidate will have:
- At least 3 years experience within an accountant role
- CPA/CA qualified
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced excel skills
- Experience using an ERP system
- Experience within the construction/property industry desirable
