The Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly close across multiple ERP systems, ensuring accurate Balance Sheet and P&L reporting.
- Prepare and review GL reconciliations, journals and detailed variance analysis.
- Deliver timely and accurate Board reporting packs while meeting strict deadlines.
- Prepare and lodge tax obligations in line with ATO requirements.
- Manage federal and state tax compliance, including regulatory reporting.
- Assist with statutory reporting in accordance with AASB standards.
- Support external and internal audits.
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, including acquisitions, transfers, disposals and monthly depreciation.
- Coordinate periodic asset stocktakes and reconciliations.
- Support finance projects and business initiatives.
- 3+ years accounting experience.
- CPA or CA qualification.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Advanced systems capability.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and improve processes proactively.
