Job Overview
As an Accountant, you will be a key player in safeguarding the company's financial stability by ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. This role is ideal for a highly organised individual with a solid background in financial accounting and a passion for process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements in line with accounting regulations
- Handle month-end closing tasks, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Ensure timely completion of statutory obligations, such as tax returns and audits
- Assist with both internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries
- Enhance and streamline financial processes to boost efficiency and accuracy
- Lead the preparation of financial and board reports
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive financial management
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or CA qualification (or in the process of obtaining it)
- 3+ years of experience in financial accounting or related roles
