Based in Melbourne's Northern suburbs, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated candidate to join the business on a long term basis in a varied Accounts Officer position.
Position Description
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager and among a supportive team environment, the role will include but not be limited to:
- Invoice processing
- Processing payment runs
- Set up new customers and complete credit checks
- Handling queries from both suppliers and customers
- Daily reconciliations
- Allocating and receipting payments
- Following up overdue / outstanding accounts
- Various administrative duties
- Providing support to the finance team where required
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have experience in accounts, as well as the following attributes:
- Excellent time management skills with an ability to multi-task and juggle varying responsibilities
- A passion for accounts and keen desire to complete all tasks to a high standard
- Positive and bubbly personality
- Strong communication skills, from both a written and verbal perspective
- Desire to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
Additional Benefits
- Attractive remuneration - circa $70,000 - $80,000 + super (negotiable dependent on experience)
