Our client is an iconic Australian.  Due to growth, they are seeking the services of an Accounts Payable & Contract Administrator as soon as possible in a role that has the potential of becoming permanent.

Position Description 

Reporting directly into the IT Operations Manager, your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Processing, validating, and obtaining approvals of invoices
  • Validating costs against contracts
  • Recording and monitoring costs to ensure alignment with the contract
  • Resolution of invoice queries 
  • Setting up new contracts in a timely manner
  • Set up and issue POs to contractors
  • Assisting in contract negotiations and renewals
  • Other tasks as requested 

Candidate Profile

The successful applicant will have prior experience in a similar role along with the following attributes:
  • Accounts payable experience
  • Intermediate excel skills
  • Strong reconciliation skills
  • Contract administration experience
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Self-starter who can work autonomously
