Our client is an iconic Australian. Due to growth, they are seeking the services of an Accounts Payable & Contract Administrator as soon as possible in a role that has the potential of becoming permanent.
Position Description
Reporting directly into the IT Operations Manager, your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Processing, validating, and obtaining approvals of invoices
- Validating costs against contracts
- Recording and monitoring costs to ensure alignment with the contract
- Resolution of invoice queries
- Setting up new contracts in a timely manner
- Set up and issue POs to contractors
- Assisting in contract negotiations and renewals
- Other tasks as requested
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have prior experience in a similar role along with the following attributes:
- Accounts payable experience
- Intermediate excel skills
- Strong reconciliation skills
- Contract administration experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail
- Self-starter who can work autonomously
