Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare accurate, insightful financial reports that drive strategic decision-making.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide commercial insights to optimise hospital operations, including labour costs, theatre allocations, and patient length of stay.
- Collaborate with department heads to improve financial performance and efficiency.
- Develop financial models to support business growth and investment decisions.
- Maintain strong financial governance, ensuring adherence to corporate policies.
- Oversee risk management and internal audit processes.
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial integrity and operational effectiveness.
- Supervise accounting functions, including payroll reconciliation, accounts payable, and capital expenditure management.
- Support administrative, billing, and coding teams to ensure financial and operational goals are met.
- Monitor debt collection and procurement costs to drive financial sustainability.
- Lead administrative, supply, maintenance, billing and coding teams.
- Monitor and improve performance against KPIs.
- Oversee debt collection and stock management processes.
- Equipment and maintenance contract management.
- Overseeing the supply and stock control inventory management
- CPA or CA qualified
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Finance Manager, with 5+ years in a financial environment.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights and recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to provide leadership at a senior management level with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to a diverse stakeholder group.
- Proficiency in excel and financial modelling expertise.
- Ability to function autonomously and tackle new and diverse tasks with minimal direction and supervision.
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting, accounting systems and internal controls – together with the commercial acumen to apply these practically in a growing environment.
