The organisation is currently undergoing a finance transformation, including the rollout of a ERP platform, the creation of a shared services function and the standardisation of finance processes. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join the business and play a key role in leading the Procure-to-Pay function while supporting the broader finance transformation program.
The responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Shared Services, this role will play an important part in improving processes, systems and controls. You will also:
- Manage the Accounts Payable function and Procure-to-Pay operations
- Managing supplier invoice processing, approvals and payment cycles
- Ensuring strong financial controls and governance across AP
- Building strong supplier and internal stakeholder relationships
- Supporting P2P automation and system improvements
- Standardising processes across multiple business units
- Coaching and developing the AP team to drive efficiency and capability
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Strong proven Accounts Payable management experience, with experience managing an accounts payable team.
- Experience leading transactional finance teams within multi-entity organisations
- Strong understanding of supplier payments, controls and AP best practice
- Experience working with ERP systems and process improvement initiatives
- A collaborative leadership style and strong stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to lead teams through change and transformation
