Our client is a market leader in their field, with operations across Australia. They are now seeking an ambitious Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team on a permanent basis. The business is presenting an exciting opportunity for a driven candidate to join their close-knit team and hit the ground running. Position Description
Reporting into the Finance Manager, your daily tasks will include:
- High volume processing of invoices daily
- Ensuring timely payment of supplier invoices through the weekly payment run
- Set up new vendors and suppliers
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Expense reimbursements
- Management of relationships with suppliers and handling queries
- Various reporting duties
- Assist the wider finance team with various duties where required
Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Accounts Payable Officer role, as well as the following attributes:
- High attention to detail
- The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to hit the ground running
