They are now seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team in the CBD on a part-time contract basis.
Position Description
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and working as part of a small, close-knit team, your responsibilities will include:
- Processing invoices and conducting statement reconciliations
- Managing payment runs and settlements
- Overseeing the AP mailbox and handling supplier queries
- Supporting the broader finance team with month-end tasks
- Driving process improvements and assisting with change initiatives
Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will bring proven Accounts Payable experience along with:
- Strong numeracy and reconciliation skills
- Confidence working both autonomously and collaboratively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A personable approach with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
