Our client is a growing business that is searching for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their team. Working with a fantastic team, this role will suit a highly motivated candidate with excellent accounts payable experience.
The Role
The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for the end to end function of Accounts Payable and provides assistance to the accounting support team when necessary.
Duties
Reporting directly into the Financial Controller and working in a small team, your daily tasks will include;
- Matching invoices with purchase orders and processing a high volume of invoices
- Statement reconciliations
- Process supplier payments within supplier trading terms
- Reconcile the accounts payable control account in the general ledger to the sub-ledger each month
- Administration duties
Skills and Experience
- Prior experience in an end to end Accounts Payable position
- Proven SAP experience
- Intermediate skills in Excel
- Ability to work proficiently in a high volume environment
- Positive and vibrant personality
