Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their Accounts Payable team on an immediate basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and friendly environment, working 5 days on site within the CBD. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments within a high-volume AP environment. This position is offered as a fixed-term contract with the potential for extension.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform supplier reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
- Support the AP team with postings, high-volume data entry, and ad hoc accounts payable tasks.
- Provide general assistance and support across the AP function as required.
- Maintain high attention to detail while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience in a full function accounts payable role
- Proficiency in SAP is highly regarded
- Strong reconciliation skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Confidence managing competing priorities and tight deadlines
